APPROACH


Throughout the session I will attune with you and pay close attention to your unfolding process. In this way I will know when it will be most helpful to shift between movement practices, rest, or integrate verbal processing. I may guide you with touch, experiential anatomy, breathing practices, visualizations, a particular movement sequence, or an extended time of relatively open movement exploration. My suggestions draw from my years of experience observing how movement reverberates through the body and psyche.

Each session unfolds organically and is a co-created experience based on what feels relevant to you. A session will follow your needs and respect where you are. The initiatory spark that brings a session into focus is often simple and spontaneous.

A session proceeds by continually following whatever is arising in the moment. I support both mindfulness and expression, so that space opens up inside your body-mind. This space invites greater self witnessing, reflection, and insight.

I will suggest a transition gently and only upon gathering your full agreement to assure that such a transition feels integral, supportive and appropriate to your process.

~All movements I suggest are to suit your body, using props and creativity to assist you safely and with ease into movements. Clients should be comfortably dressed to be ready to move.
